The Halloween Horror Begins This Weekend at Universal

Devotees of Halloween are psyched.

For the 22nd year, the intent of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando is to terrorize even the most jaded visitor. The screamfest opens this weekend, Sept. 21, and runs on selected nights through Oct. 31.

Haunted houses with attendant mazes revolve around Silent Hill, the Walking Dead, Alice Cooper, and magicians Penn & Teller.

Here’s a preview video for Silent Hill.

According to the website:

In the eerie and desolate town of Silent Hill, ash falls from the sky and the physical laws of nature no longer apply. If you dare to venture into this alternate dimension, there is only one law of nature with which you must concern yourself: survival.

We love the “It is real” billing.

There is a dizzying array of ticket prices, depending on residency, package purchased, discount codes, and night attending. The cost alone may frighten more than a few people.
