Halloween Horror Nights to feature Silent Hill, Walking Dead

Each year Halloween aficionados eagerly anticipate Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights and the theme park does a good job of playing up that anticipation. The attraction runs from Sept. 21 to Oct. 31.

Our friend Racheal Yates of Behind the Thrills is among the first to spill the beans about Universal’s plans for this year.

“The Walking Dead” and “Silent Hill” mazes are scheduled for both Universal Studios Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood. Plans were announced at Comic-Con, the comic book and popular arts convention held in San Diego.

“The Walking Dead” is a television series running on AMC, while “Silent Hill” is a video game, soon-to-be movie.

“Rumor have been floating around over the last couple of months that a Walking Dead house would be making its way into the house line-up this year…,” she reports. She adds that a presentation about the new film, “Silent Hill: Revelation 3D,” culminated in the announcement that Silent Hill will be coming to Orlando and Hollywood.
