Busch Gardens’ Falcon’s Fury Now Open

The much-ballyhooed Falcon’s Fury has finally opened at Busch Gardens Tampa. Falcon’s Fury, which is part of the new Pantopia, was originally scheduled to open in May. However, testing revealed problems that led to replacement of many of the cables used in the rise and fall by the manufacturer.

At 335 feet high, the first-of-its-kind drop tower is the tallest in North America. You are lifted up and your seats tilt forward and you face the ground below. Then you plummet to the ground (after an undetermined amount of time) at 65 mph. Until you stop, that is.

After a couple of weeks of soft openings, Falcon’s Fury should be open daily. Guests are being encouraged to show their post-ride reaction at #falconface.
