Admission Prices Up at SeaWorld

Push me, I’m coming.

In one breath, SeaWorld is enticing customers with free hotel rooms and meals, and the next minute it’s raising its ticket prices … an increase of $2, to $81.99 for a single day ticket and an increase for Florida residents from $99 to $127.98 for one-day visits to SeaWorld and Aquatica.

SeaWorld raised its prices by $1 last November.

However, Discovery Cove and Aquatica both announced earlier this month that they’re offering discounts to Florida residents until the end of the year. Discovery Cove visitors can pay a $129 Day Resort admission, which does not include the dolphin encounter ($199). Aquatica has cut the online purchase of tickets to $29.99; the walk-up price is $47.99.

Various discounts can be found online and/or when you’re booking accommodations, so it pays to shop around.
