Kennedy Space Center – Seeing a Launch for Free

If you'd rather not pay the KSC admission fee and the $20 extra charge to be bussed out to the viewing location, you can still get an excellent view of the launch from numerous locations in nearby Titusville and Cocoa Beach. NASA maintains a website of suggested viewing locations at http://www.nasa.gov/centers/kennedy/launchingrockets/viewing.html.

One of the best is Space View Park on Broad Street in Titusville. Take Exit 80 from I-95 (SR 406, Garden Street). The park is two blocks south of SR 406.
