The Peabody Orlando has 891 rooms including 57 suites. At press time, the hotel was undergoing a significant expansion that will add 759 rooms and more meeting space in a separate tower just north of the existing building. The construction is causing remarkably little inconvenience to guests, although you may want to request a room facing the front of the building.
Rooms are designated as superior, deluxe, and executive, each slightly larger than the other and offering enhanced in-room amenities. Rooms facing the front of the hotel have splendid views to the southwest. Orlando often has spectacular sunsets and you’ll have a ringside seat. Later at night you can see the fireworks from the Illuminations show at Epcot and the nightly fireworks extravaganza at Magic Kingdom. The 25th through 27th floors are designated as the Club Level, which offers a certain additional level of privacy in that you can only access those floors with the right room key. Club Level guests are also treated to a complimentary continental breakfast and evening hors d’oeuvres with a cash bar.
The Peabody quotes “standard rates.” Just be aware that the price of a room might rise or fall at various times of the year, depending on the tourist and business traffic.
