Grande Vista is designed as a home away from home for timeshare owners, and since every villa has its own fully-equipped kitchen, on-site dining options are somewhat limited. Still, if you are dead set against doing your own cooking, you needn’t go hungry.
In addition to the spots reviewed below, there is The Marketplace, a sort of convenience store, open from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., that offers grilled panini sandwiches, in addition to kitchen staples, wine, and liquor. Next door is a walk-up window combining a Pizza Hut and Edy’s ice cream. It is open from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and the Pizza Hut delivers on property from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. All of these are located in the Village Center building that houses resort reception. In addition, you will no doubt receive several flyers, slipped under your door, advertising local food delivery services.
Located in the lighthouse-like tower that is the resort’s centerpiece, the Lighthouse Bar is minuscule as bars go, with a limited selection, but it’s a great place to meet old Grande Vista hands. The close quarters encourage conversation and new friendships. If you feel the need to spread out, al fresco seating is just steps away.
