Mango Market is designed for “grab and go” eating. Conveniently located at the right end of the park’s artificial beach (as you face the wave pools), it is a good place to pick up the fixin’s for a beach-side picnic. In fact, they provide plastic shopping baskets just for that purpose.
The first thing you see when you enter is the pizza station and the open “wood fired” oven behind it. There are three varieties of small, individual-sized pizzas to choose from, cheese, pepperoni, and the fairly elaborate vegetable pizza, which features spinach, green and red peppers, and a thick layer of cheese. You can also find chicken tenders here. Chances are, whichever one you choose, there’ll be one ready to go, prepackaged in its own paper box.
To either side of this central station are identical deli sections, offering an array of cold selections and beverages that you can collect en route to the cashier stations near the exits. Here you will find sandwiches and wraps, salads, and desserts. Separate coolers and freezers contain beer, soft drinks, and ice cream treats. If you’re in the mood to pig out, you can even grab a pint of ice cream. The desserts also include more sensible portions of the very good chocolate-cherry and carrot cakes found over at SeaWorld.
There is plenty of seating just outside, much of it nicely shaded under tent-like coverings, but most people just tote their meals back to their lounge chairs on the beach.
