SeaWorld – South End: Mango Joe's Cafe
What: Fajitas, cafeteria style
Where: Near Wild Arctic
Price Range: $
Fajitas are the entree of choice here and they’re not at all bad. Chicken, steak, or a combination, they are served with flour tortillas and served with the requisite sour cream, guacamole, grilled peppers and onions, and mildly spicy pico de gallo. The only downside is that they don’t arrive sizzling on a griddle and by the time you make it through the cafeteria line and find your way to a table in the large shaded seating area that lies outside behind the restaurant, what warmth they had might have cooled a good bit.
Other options include a fajita salad, a veggie wrap, or a Southwestern wrap (chicken or steak); the wraps are served with potato salad. For the less adventurous, there are chicken fingers with fries and a dipping sauce.
A full range of Busch beers is available, along with the usual soft drinks and coffee.
Tip: There are two identical lines here, with entrances on opposite sides of the building. If one line looks daunting, check out the other side; often it is far shorter.
