Ever been high as a kite? Well here’s your chance. Parasail
operators will strap you onto a small seat (sort of like a swing)
and launch you into the sky on a gaudily colored parachute by
towing it from the back of their boats. You’re always attached,
but the U.S. Coast Guard-certified boat captains maintain just
enough slack on the rope to give you the sensation of gliding
high above central Florida. You’ll soar for 10 to 12 minutes
before being gently reeled back in for a dry landing on the boat.
The price you pay depends on how high you want to get. No experience
is necessary and the safety record is impeccable.
