THIS ATTRACTION HAS CLOSED Dottie's Comedy Theater Prices: Adults $23.95, children (4-12) $16.95, includes two free drinks. This probably doesn’t really count as a “dinner” show, unless you count beer and popcorn as dinner. But, hey, you’re on vacation so why not? What you lose in nutritional value you’ll more than make up in belly laughs. Dottie’s bills itself as the only “three headliner comedy show outside Las Vegas,” by which they mean that the three comics who each do about a half hour of stand up in this ninety-minute show have decades of television, cruise ship, and lounge experience under their belts and have earned their “headliner” status fair and square. Taking note of its family-friendly setting, Dottie’s appeals to all ages. There is an early show just for the kiddies, while the main show is strictly PG-13. Even the late-night “adult” show, advertised as “18 and up,” is not too raunchy. The three pros who make up the evening’s entertainment work the 160-seat room with consummate ease, trading quips with the audience and reliably delivering a steady stream of laughs. Remote controlled overhead lights add a nice touch of razzle dazzle to the proceedings. The concession stand outside the main lounge sells snacks and, for an extra charge, premium beers and such.
