Type: Zip-line ride for youngsters
Time: 20 seconds (that's not a typo!)
Short Take: I wanna ride, too!
This is far and away the most popular ride at Jungala and waits of 90 minutes are not uncommon. To reach it, you must climb a set of stairs from the Canopy Walk, but not so fast!
The ride is for those 48 inches tall and 6 to 13 years of age. Anyone older must be accompanied by a kid who meets the requirements and cannot weigh more than 220 pounds. How do they know? They weigh you!
From the launch platform, three twin zip lines head off in different directions. Riders are seated in a sling chair, hoisted to a height of 63 feet above ground level and let free to slide over the Treetop Trails area to a distant post and back again. It all takes just 20 seconds!
Because of the long wait times, unless your kid absolutely needs mommy or daddy nearby to summon the courage to ride, I would suggest adults sit this one out and give the kids a chance.
